About
When I first began freelance writing, one of the most common pieces of advice I received was to find a niche to write in and stick with it. While I respect that strategy, I am not inclined to “niche down.”
Instead, I choose to stay open to many different types of clients and writing roles, because I genuinely love writing—in all its forms. I have journalistic experience from my time working at the Dallas Express; I have extensive copywriting and SEO experience. I also enjoy content writing, ghostwriting, and editing. I have written about a range of topics, from the UN Women's Conferences to flower species. And while I can certainly appreciate the value of a specialized writer, I consider my versatility and ability to write well in different mediums and subjects to be a major asset. I hope prospective clients feel similarly.
When I’m not writing or editing, I’m reading, hiking, or hanging out with my cats. I’m inspired by nature, humor, empathy, and good coffee. Other things I enjoy include perfumery, traveling, and photography.
Thanks for stopping by!
